Who runs this site

This is the website of The Tire Lot, a tire shop at 3261 Main St, Chula Vista, CA 91911. You can reach us at (619) 349-3303.

What we collect

Only what you type or upload yourself. This site has no login, no shopping cart and no account.

If you send a quote request, the form collects what you fill in:

• Your name and mobile number, and your email address if you choose to give one
• The tire size, condition and quantity you are asking about
• Your vehicle year, make and model, if you enter them
• How soon you need the tire, and any notes you write
• Your preferred language and whether you would rather be called or texted
• Any photos you attach — usually a sidewall, a tread or a damaged spot
• Your agreement to be contacted about the request, and the time you gave it

What we do not collect

There is no analytics tool, no advertising pixel and no social media tracker installed on this site. We do not know which pages you read, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share anything about you with advertisers.

The site sets no cookies for tracking. Maps are ordinary links: Google Maps and Apple Maps only learn anything about you after you tap the link and leave this site, and then their own privacy policies apply, not ours.

What we do with it

We use your request to answer your request: to check whether we have your size, to confirm the price and what it includes, and to reply to you the way you asked to be contacted.

We do not send marketing messages from this form.

Photos taken at the shop

This is separate from anything you upload here. The shop photographs vehicles it works on and posts some of those pictures publicly, mainly on Instagram. A vehicle can be recognisable in them, and a licence plate can be visible.

If you would rather your vehicle was not photographed, tell us when you drop it off. If something is already posted and you want it down, call the shop and we will take it down. The terms of use explain this in more detail.

Who else can see it

That is the whole list. Your request is not sent to a lead marketplace, a dealer network or any other tire seller.

• The people who work at the shop.
• The company that hosts this website, which necessarily processes the request as it passes through their servers, and keeps ordinary server logs (including IP addresses) for security.
• Resend, an email delivery service, if and only if email notification is switched on — in that case a copy of your request is emailed to the shop through them.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept so the shop can find your conversation if you call back about it.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete a request you sent. Call (619) 349-3303 and tell us the reference number from the confirmation screen, or the phone number you used.

You can also simply not use the form — calling the shop works just as well, and the phone leaves nothing on this website.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying tires. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and quote requests are transmitted encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Please do not send us anything sensitive — a driver's license, a card number, a Social Security number — through this form. We never ask for those online.

Changes to this page

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
